Techono Buono!

Just in case you haven't heard yet, Buono! is going to be releasing their first mini album, Partenza on August 10th ^_^

And now ladies and gents we get a to hear a radio rip of the song, Let's Go~ (レッツゴー)

AND I FUCKING LOVE IT.

Some people may complain, "Baaaaw too much dub-step and not enough 'Rockin Buono" but honestly this shit is awesome. It proves that Buono has the talent to take on any genre of music...including sick club beats.

B-U-O-N-O Let's Go!~

Holy Eggs Batman, Mogi has returned!!!!

A few days ago it was announced that 6 new Eggs would be joining the line-up for the event, Hello! Pro Egg 2011 Happyou Kai ~September no Nama Tamago Show!
Two of which might sound familiar to those that followed the 9th gen auditions.
Otsuka Aina and...

MOGI MINAMI!

These were the two girls that were left over after Zukki, Eripon, and Riho were chosen for the 9th generation of Morning Musume. Just like most others that tried out and didn't make it into the group, I expected these girls to fade out of the idol scene and never be heard from again. OHHH was I wrong!!

Mogi. is. back.

Tsunku must have had this planned since the beginning. He kept this girl all throughout the auditions even though I doubt that anyone thought much of her and no one expected her to even make it to the finalists.
But Tsuku kept her until the end...what is that crafty bastard thinking!?!?!
He must have saw something in her that I must be missing, even though she appears to be nothing more than a average girl who is a crybaby. (yep, no shame here)

During the auditions she seemed so helpless. Like a girl in a pageant being forced to prance around by her parents. I know she's young...but so is Zukkini.
It doesnt matter if your young or old, if you love to do something then it shows.
If she wanted that opportunity then she would have fought for it.

Not that I'm hating on Mogi, I just dont think she's the best choice for someone that will have to perform (fearlessly) in front of large crowds.

International Idols~

Welcome to the world of Idols you can truly meet! These are idols you may have never heard of, but they have the brains, beauty, and the brawn of any H!P or AKB!
These are "home-grown idols."
Many are idol groups that start as cosplay or cover groups but they are all slowly making their way into the idol scene!
I'm going to be doing a special segment (probably around once or twice a month) on "home-grown" idols. I guess you can say they have a special place in my idol loving heart~

Feel free to comment with any groups that you think I should cover. :)

First off is Cutie LOVE
They are a cosplay group from Hong Kong that is crazy dedicated. They were formed in 2001 and there current members are Kirari, Kiara, Mitsuki, Mori, Ameko, Kokoa, Mirai, Misa, Michiyo, and Moka. I first discovered Cutie LOVE when I came across their cosplay and cover of Shugo Chara Egg's Minna no Tamago!

Amazing, right?!?!

(I guess I should also mention how I think the girl in green is the cutest damn thing...)

I actually think I clicked on their video because the thumbnail looked so much like the actual PV. Their costumes are amazing and they did a great job learning  the dance and re-creating the PV.
I actually find myself looking to Cutie LOVE when I can't find a good dance shot of a song I need, because they would be the ones to have covered it. These girls have covered the entire Jpop spectrum, from AKB to MoMoClo Z (See what I did thar :B)

Sooo S/mileage is becoming generational~

So far I'm not sure how to feel about this announcement, but I can definitely see both sides of things.

S/mileage and their wota must be pretty upset.  /omg   A change in a group's line-up is always a hard thing to swallow, especially when you have been exclusively following a certain set of girls for so long. We don't know how another girl(or girls possibly) will affect the sales, popularity, or looks of S/mileage.
S/mileage MUST be at least a little upset. Becoming generational means that their time in the group is now limited. The group that they worked hard to debut will continue on even if they are not a part of it. Before this announcement S/mileage could have continued on as a 4nin group and let their style of music change with age, like Berryz Koubou. But now their time will come to an end...
Does this mean that Dawa will be leaving soon??!?!! :( I surely hope not!!

While this all seems sad I have to think about the positive things this could bring for S/mileage. Tsunku obviously wants to keep the group fresh-faced, making cute and upbeat music. (Because they're obviously going to turn into wrinkled old hags at 18) XD New girls could mean new fans and new opportunities. Auditions/Graduations are also a really good way to get the press going...

Either way I wish S/mileage and their tentative new members the best of luck....

And I fucking hope to see Dawa around for a lot longer.

There is a lot of room for speculation and questioning with this announcement....
Is Tsunku going to try to make S/mileage the new MM?
Does this mean that Berryz Koubou or C-ute will be leaving us soon?

Only time will tell~

Here's Tsunku's surprise announcement to the girls
